Come join us and Chamber member Northeast Transportation Connections (NETC) and Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) for a discussion of what a possible Microtransit program in Commerce City can do for your business and the community. Microtransit is a free, on-demand, shared transportation service using smaller, more nimble vehicles to provide door-to-door trips within a defined service area. Trips are requested via mobile app or call center and respond in real time to meet rider demand. Microtransit is designed to complement—not replace—existing transit, improving local mobility and first/last-mile access to regional services. NETC currently has a research grant to look at the possibility of a microtransit service in Commerce City and they are looking for additional feedback/input on this type of transportation service.
