About Us

Bookabilities is a Colorado-based bookkeeping firm serving local real estate developers, general contractors, and multi-unit property owners. I’m Jen, and after 15 years in construction and real estate finance, I started Bookabilities to give builders and owners a bookkeeping partner who truly understands how projects run—not just how transactions post.

My work goes beyond basic reconciliations. I help clients get clean, dependable books with project-level cost tracking, clear monthly reporting, and practical cash-flow visibility so you can make decisions with confidence. I’m especially focused on the details that often get missed in construction accounting—mis-coded job costs, unbilled change orders, and reimbursable expenses that quietly eat into margins.

Services include construction-specific bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable support, monthly close, draw and documentation support, and simple dashboards that make your numbers easy to understand and use. I specialize in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and systems that fit the way construction and development businesses operate.
